BIOGRAPHY

LAURA COPPEL (February 22, 1983)
Mexican artist, surrounded throughout her life by art books, paints, and brushes, developing from childhood a natural ability to express a deep love for art. After studying at the Mazatlán Art Center and exploring Ceramic workshops, Singing lessons, Ballet, Jazz, Dance, Sculpture, Music, and Theater, Laura Coppel discovered a special passion for Painting and decided to pursue it as her primary artistic path.

After nurturing her passion and experience in art, in 1998 Laura began to expand her vision by studying and visiting Art Galleries, Museums, Workshops, and learning from different cultures around the world. It was in Europe in 2000, while living in England, where she defined her unique technique and continued to grow her skills. In 2002, Laura moved to San Diego, California, ready to launch her own brand, presenting her first art exhibition titled Animalia and Poetry in Color.

Laura Coppel Art brings together various techniques, particularly Abstraction, Cubism, and Pop Art, with a strong emphasis on intense colors and flashes of gold. Water-based acrylics and gold leaf are essential elements she uses to create her work. In 2012, Laura moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she expanded her portfolio by creating ready-to-wear Art pieces. Her paintings are born from emotion: joy, transformation, resilience, love, and a profound desire to honor the human spirit. Every stroke carries the strength of her story and her belief that art is meant to inspire and elevate. Laura continues developing “Felicity Sculptures” and evolving her artistic concepts across home décor, apparel, and digital art, while original paintings remain the core and foundation of all her creations.
